A man driving a 2015 Nissan Rogue died after losing control of his vehicle in a crash on Flamingo Road in the early hours of Oct. 27, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit.
The Nissan veered to the right, struck a concrete curb, then continued along the sidewalk before colliding with concrete barriers and crashing into a Florida Turnpike overpass support column. The vehicle then caught fire, complicating the process of identifying the driver. Authorities are still working to confirm his identity as the investigation continues.
